  1. Tea Bags

Black tea or green tea bag is a number one choice for home remedies because it has tannic acid. This has the power to draw heat from the burns. You just have to simply place 2-3 tea bags in cool water, then collect the tea in small bowl, and carefully put the tea bags in the burned place.

You can also create a concoction by using 3-4 tea bags, 4 cups of hot water and 2 cups of mint leaves. Just strain the mixture and let it cool. Gently dab the mixture on the affected burned skin.

This remedy is very popular and quick. Accidents in dining table happens with both adults and kids like sipping hot chocolate or soup before it is cool enough. If you are suffering from burned tongue, you can treat it with ice cubes instead of cool water by putting it in the affected area.
  1. Vinegar

After applying vinegar in the burned part you can feel immediate relief. This is a very common remedy for burnes.To use vinegar put a cottonball in white vinegar and dab it carefully to the affected part. Vinegar contains antiseptic and astringent properties which can prevent any infection caused by various types of burns. Vinegar can also aid in healing of the burned skin really fast.

It becomes very itchy and irritating when minor burns heal. To get rid of this itchiness put some breakfast cereal in the tub. Then place one cup of crumbled oatmeal in a bathtub of lukewarm water.  Soak at least 15 minutes and then dry. The thin coat of oatmeal have to remain in the skin.
  1. Raw Potato

You might be really surprised with this technique but this is a very effective one.This can lessen the risk of developing blisters in the area. You can cut the raw potato into several slices and gently rub it in the burn. Release the juice of potato in the burned skin.

  1. Egg Whites

This is another popular home remedy for burns. Separate whites from yolks and then soak the burned skin in the egg whites. You will no longer feel the pain associated with the burns after soaking the burned skin in egg white.
