Causes, Ayurvedic Treatment, Remedies, Oils for Split Hair

Most of the women are really worried about their hair related issues. Some of them suffer from hair fall, dandruff, thinning of hair, graying, burning scalp, loose hair roots etc. most of them complain mainly about the split hair.
All these problems have a solution if you give proper care in proper timings. Since hair is a tool of beauty for all especially to ladies of all age group members bear pain for such a great loss.

Splitting of hair is caused due to dryness according to Ayurveda. Dryness and less oil in your hair will result in splitting of the tip of hair

Hair loss can be due to food and habits as well as the local effect produced by the environmental conditions and seasonal effects among the causative factors which causes the complaint of split of the hair.

Use of excess of chemical shampoo-perfumes-soap-hair cleansers etc

Winter season and later part of summer
Not applying the hair oils
Improper head bathing habits
Advanced hair care trends incorporated with chemical agents in all the stages for hair care
Unhygienic conditions etc

Intake of excess of pulses and non vegetarian diet
Intake of dry-light-spicy-salty food
Lack of nutritious diet
Intake of hormonal tablets and long term medication
Junk food
Food and beverages added with low standard preservatives, coloring agents,  emulsifiers etc

Application of Amla powder/Triphala powder soaked in water etc
Wash with Aloe vera juice
Wash with coconut milk
Oils for application in split hair conditions-

Chemparutyadi keram
Bhringamalaka taila
Neelibhringadi keram
Malatyadi taila
Malatyadi keram
Mandara taila etc

Do’s and Don’ts in case of Split hair
Intake of plenty of water, tender coconut water/paper pulp, fruit juice, usage of fenugreek (Methika), milk, raw vegetables like ash gourd, cucumber, carrot etc are recommended in split hair.
Wearing of dark and thick turbans, exposure to dust and fumes, spicy-hot and deep fried food, added chemicals in food, junk food etc are totally to be avoided so as to get rid of split hair.

No chemicals can reverse the process of splitting of hair. Nutritious food and diet, proper hair care, oil application to the scalp etc will surely help in preventing and in cure of split hair.
